Often, I find myself speeding through the day without taking a step to just breathe, appreciate the day and life in general.
We can get so caught up with our life because most of us have numerous things going on and it’s easy to forget to take some time for yourself and mindfulness.
I know this might be easier said than done but take a moment each day to relax. It doesn’t even have to be for too long because we are all busy but it can just be a few minutes. If you have time to check or post on social media, you have time to stop and appreciate life.

What are you looking forward to?
You can even just sit in silence for a minute.
Say some positive affirmations.
Today is going to be a good day.
I am feeling good.
I am happy.
I am thankful.

Many of us tend to worry often about things out of our control or things that have yet to happen.
I will worry about things that might not even happen, so I just work myself up for no reason.
Something I like to remind myself:
Worrying doesn’t solve your problem.
As you allow yourself to worry, guess what? The problem is still there. So why not trust and have faith that everything will work out. I am working hard on radiating positive energy as much as I can because I truly believe doing so has changed my perspective on life as well as my life.
The next time you feel yourself starting to worry, stop! I know this is easier said than done, but distract your brain. Pray. Meditate. Do yoga. Work out. Read. Write. Sing. Dance. The list goes on and on, there are so many things to do to distract yourself and not let negative energy in.
