The reality of life is that sometimes things don’t work out the way we plan them to. We might not get the job we want or the house / apartment we want. We might end up losing a job or a relationship that we thought we wouldn’t. Many work so hard to get a promotion or into some sort of school program and still not get it.
This is a closed door.
I used to get upset, worry, and overthink when I’d reach a closed door. Many of us do, but I’ve learned not to. Often, closed doors are blessings. Recall back to a time when you didn’t get what you wanted but ended up with something better.
For example, you might have just gotten broken up with by someone you thought you’d end up spending the rest of your life with. But because of that breakup, you end up with the love of your life who treats you better than your ex.
You could get fired and end up getting a new job that makes you happier or perhaps pays you way more than your old job. It could be the job you’ve always wanted
(or losing your job could push you into opening your own business/ working for yourself or following your passion).
I believe all things happen for a reason and ultimately we end up exactly where we need to be.
The next time you reach a a closed door:
Believe that it happened for a reason and you will end up with much better.
Closed doors are blessings.
Whatever you lose, wasn’t meant for you after all.
